Hill And River Collection is a representation of two things we love:  Fragrances and Candles! Our business was born when we received a candle for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We quickly realized that we got the candle for the label, because it definitely did not have the lingering, room filling smell that we imagined. Then came the idea... "You know we can really start making our own candles right?" What started as a simple thought turned into much more.

 We decided to name our company Hill And River Collection because Lynchburg (The Hill City), Virginia and Richmond (The River City), Virginia are places where we call home. We see home as a place of peace and comfort, and our candles welcome a peaceful environment. You will see that majority of our candle names are related to our home cities, or somewhere within the state of Virginia. We have so many exciting plans for this business, and we are ready to take fellow Virginians, and our out of state customers along for the ride.
